2012 MET BALL OUTFITS

On Monday, celebrities came together to celebrate fashion at the (invite only) 2012 MET Costume Institute Gala. Everyone pulled tried to put on their fashion best for the night (some not so successful) but in all my favorite was very unexpected from Beyonce who wore a Givenchy Couture gown by Riscardo Tisci, pictures below
Beyonce wore a black, sheer, embroidered Givenchy gown that was body hugging at the top and loose at the bottom into a purple train. Gotta say those work outs are paying off!!
The understated makeup added a flawless finish to the outfit.
Beyonce's baby sister, Solange was also in attendance with Rachel Roy in a canary yellow Rachel Roy gown. Although her nude lip was about to look too pale.
Rihanna also made an appearance in a floor length, backless, crocodile Tom Ford gown which only her beautiful body can pull off but I wasn't really feeling the hair and makeup.
Also in a Tom Ford gown was Chanel Iman, who arrived with Tom Ford.
Cameron Diaz, Stella McCartney and MIA
MIA was dressed in Stella McCartney from head to toe.
Lala Anthony in Zac Posen and Carmelo Anthony in a Rag and Bone suit.
Ashley Olsen looked "different" in a black gown from her line The Row
Models Jourdan Dunn in a strapless Burberry gown and Cara Delevigne
Rachel Zoe, Alexander Wang and rapper Azealia Banks.
Azealia Banks dressed in a custom Alexander Wang dress.
Model Joan Smalls in Balmain
Paula Patton in Vera Wang
Janelle Monae
Alicia Keys and Sizz Beatz both in suits Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci but the look was a little boring.
